Der Beitrag präsentiert kritisch-hermeneutische Rekonstruktionsergebnisse vor allem zu Handlungsmöglichkeiten und -strategien einer bekannten Berliner Subkulturaktivistin*: Lotte Hahm verknüpfte ihre ökonomische Selbstständigkeit mit kollektiver Selbstorganisierung (offene Klubstrukturen), gastronomischen Einrichtungen (Barbetrieb, Tanz, Kulturprogramm) mit dem Angebot von Beratung und politischer Bildung (Artikel, Vorträge, Bibliothek) sowie mit politischen Zielen wie Politisierung, Antidiskriminierung und (über)regionaler sowie transnationaler Vernetzung von Lesben und (homosexuellen) "Transvestiten". Die Lokalnutzung baute sie zu exklusiv räumlicher Vergemeinschaftung sowie städtischer Verortung und Verankerung aus. In this article we present the critical findings of a reconstruction that focuses primarily on the scope and strategies of action of Lotte Hahm, a well-known subcultural activist from Berlin. Lotte Hahm combined her economic independence with collective self-organization (non-restrictive club structures). She also paired hospitality (bars, dances and cultural events) with providing advice and political education (articles, lectures, a library), as well as with political goals such as politicizing people, working to abolish discrimination and striving to establish local, national and international networks of lesbians and (homosexual) 'transvestites'. She transformed event venues into exclusive spaces for building community that had a distinct urban feel and were rooted locally. In the process she developed her own political programme as well as an aggressive, subcultural advertising strategy in which she presented herself in a self-empowering way as openly lesbian, someone who refused to bow to feminine norms.... view less
