In Österreich gehört freiwilliges Engagement zum Selbstverständnis katholischer Erwachsenenbildung. Anhand aktueller Studien beschreibt dieser Beitrag den Stand des Ehrenamts speziell in katholischen Bildungswerken der Alpenrepublik.
