"The decline in political awareness that is often observed in the field of gender politics can be analysed more precisely as an individualisation of the political: Subjects constitute themselves as political subjects according to the mode) of individualised agency. But this hegemonic formation of subjectivity is a political issue itself and raises the question of alternative concepts of politics and its subjects. Using the example of the discourse about the reconciliation of work and family life, it can be demonstrated how an alternative formation of political subjects could be developed."
