"Peter Sloterdijks political thymotics focuses above all on rage, the potency of which is emphasized by the philosopher. In that context, Sloterdijk avers to have an alternative plan to capitalist economic system although he declared elsewhere that there is no alternative to this kind of economy. A closer view at his proposal proves it to be a pseudo-solution. Beginning with Sloterdijks utterances, the current hegemonial, predominant attitude toward capitalism will be examined. By focusing on disgust and shame with their socio-political impact, an opposite position to Sloterdijk will be outlined and the possibility of an alternative to capitalist economy will be pointed out."
