• Sigmund Freud'un psikanaliz kuramını felsefi açıdan yeniden temellendiren psikiyatr Jacques-Marie Emile Lacan, 13 Nisan 1901'de doğduğu Paris'te 9 Eylül 1981 yılında ölmüştür. Bilinçdışının dil gibi yapılandığı görüşünden hareket eden ve yapısalcı dilbiliminden yararlanan Lacan, Freud'un psikanalitik kuramından yola çıksa da Freud'un bilinçdışında aradığı öznenin psişik yapısını, dış gerçeklikteki öteki ile bağıntılı olarak ele almıştır. Bunun sonucunda insanın bilinçdışı tarafından şekillendirildiğine değil, aksine bilinçdışının insanın içinde bulunduğu dış gerçeklik tarafından biçimlendirildiği görüşünü dile getirmiştir. Kısacası imgesel, sembolik ve gerçek olmak üzere doğası gereği bölünmüş haldeki insan psişesinin bütün unsurlarının dış dünyadaki bir ötekinin / Ötekinin bakışı altında dönüşüme uğradığını, bütün psikolojik sorunların temelinde yatanın da özne ile öteki arasındaki gerilim olduğunu ileri sürmüştür. Biz de bu çalışmamızda Lacanyen psikanalizin bahsi geçen unsurlarını ve psişik öznenin geçirdiği üç dönemi (imgesel, sembolik ve gerçek) ele alacağız. Bu teorik bilgilerin ardından Marie Luise Kaschnitz'in kısa öyküsü "Kuş Rock" taki kuş imgesini Lacanyen psikanalizmin bu bilgileri ışığında metne bağlı inceleme yöntemi ile inceleyeceğiz. Öznenin Ayna Evresi ile başlayan ve benliğini bütünleştirmek uğruna girdiği ötekileşme ve Ötekileşme süreçlerinin eserdeki izdüşümlerini tespit etme girişiminde bulunacağız.
• Psychiatrist Jacques-Marie Emile Lacan, who philosophically reaffirmed Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, was born in Paris on April 13, 1901 and died there on September 9, 1981. Acting from the view that the unconscious is structured like a language, Lacan, although based on Freud's psychoanalytic theory. He has dealt with the psychic structure of the subject that Freud is seeking in the unconscious with the other in the external reality. As a result, he has reached that not the human being is shaped by the unconscious, but rather the unconscious being shaped by the external reality. In short, he argued that all the elements of human psyche, which are inherently divided into the real, the imaginary, the symbolic forms, are shaped by the "othering" of the subject or the big "Other" in the outside world. According to Lacan, the tension between the subject and the big "Other" in the symbolic arena is the basis of all psychological problems. After this theoretical knowledge and in the light of this information of Lacanian psychoanalysis with a text-based examination method, we will examine the image of a bird in Marie Luise Kaschnitz's short story "Bird Rock". We will attempt to determine the projections of Lacan's concept of "othering" and "Othering" in the work, which starts with the Mirror Phase of the subject attempting to integrate the different parts of his fragmented self.
