• Önümüzdeki çalışma, Türkçe Çeviriler Bibliyografyası adlı çalışmada yer alan bilgiler ışığında Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kuruluşundan 2016 yılına kadar Türkçeye çevrilmiş ve/ veya Türkiye’de yayımlanmış Alman edebi eserlerini raporlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla öncelikle, Türkçe Çeviriler Bibliyografyası kaynak kitabında da belirtildiği gibi çeşitli basılı ve elektronik kaynaklar (http://www.toplukatalog.gov.tr; https://kasif.mkutup.gov.tr ve http://koha.ekutuphane.gov.tr) taranarak bir veri tabanı oluşturulmuştur. Önümüzdeki çalışmada bu bilgilerden yola çıkılarak aşağıdaki soruların yanıtları aranmıştır: 1. Yıllara göre Almancadan Türkçeye çevrilen eserler belirlendiğinde karşımıza nasıl bir tablo çıkacaktır? 2. Her edebi türden toplam kaç kitap yayımlanmıştır? 3. En çok hangi yazarların eserleri Türkçeye çevrilmiştir? 4. Almancadan Türkçeye çevrilen eserler en çok hangi yayınevi tarafından basılmıştır? 5. En çok hangi çevirmenler Almancadan Türkçeye eserler kazandırmıştır? Bu soruların yanıtlarına istinaden niceliksel değerlere dayanan grafikler hazırlanmıştır. Daha sonra ise hazırlanan bu grafikler niteliksel olarak değerlendirilerek eserler Türkçeye çevrilirken hangi ölçütlerin esas alındığı, çeviri tercihlerinin- dönemine veya çevirmenine göre- nasıl yapıldığı tartışılmaktadır.
• The study on hand aims to report the German literal works translated into Turkish/ or published in Turkey partaking in the Turkish Translations Bibliography from the establishment of the Republic to the year 2016. For this purpose first a database was created by scanning various printed and electronic resources (http://www.toplukatalog.gov.tr; https://kasif.mkutup.gov.tr and http://koha.ekutuphane.gov.tr) as mentioned in the resource book of the Turkish Translations Bibliography. Based on this information this study seeks the answers to the following questions: 1. According to the years when the works translated from German into Turkish are determined, what kind of picture will come out? 2. How many books have been published in each literary genre? 3. Which author's works have been the most translated into Turkish so far? 4. Which publishing house have the most published works translated from German into Turkish? 5. Which translators brought in the most of the works from German to Turkish? Referring to the answers of these questions, the graphs based on quantitative values were prepared. Afterwards these graphs are evaluated in a qualitative method and it is discussed which criterions are taken as a basis and how the choices of translators -according to the period or translator- are made by the help of translating.
