Im Rahmen des Monitorings der Pflanzenarten des Anhangs IV der FFH-Richtlinie in Sachsen-Anhalt wurde Lindernia procumbens erstmals nach zwölf Jahren am letzten bekannten Fundort, dem Bleddiner Dorfteich, wiedergefunden. Der Nachweis unterstreicht die Notwendigkeit regelmäßiger Kontrollen des Fundortes, an dem trotz wiederholt günstig erscheinender Bedingungen die Art jahrelang nicht auftritt

In the context of the monitoring of plant species listed in annex IV of the EC Habitats Directive in Saxony-Anhalt Lindernia procumbens was rediscovered at its actually solely known place, the Bleddin pond, for the first time after twelve years. The confirmation of the species at its old place after such a long time although the local conditions seemed favourable for the species over emphasises the necessity of regular monitoring of the locality
