Die Abduktion als Spiel

  • Die Bewegung des Spiels als "Hin und Her" gleicht der abduktiven Bewegung des provisorischen Hypothesenaufstellens. Dies zeigt sich sowohl bei den Prozeduren und Prozessen wissenschaftlichen Rätsellösens, als auch beim freien Gedankenspiel, dem "musement", das Peirce explizit an das "ästhetische Spiel" Schillers anschließt.
  • The motion of playing as "forth and back" and the motion of abductive inference as the provisory adoption of hyptheses are analogous. This can be shown concerning the procedures and processes involved in scientific puzzle-solving; this can be shown as well concerning the "free play" of "musement" which Peirce explicitly related to the "esthetic play" in the definition of Schiller.
