• Gibt es in Wirklichkeit die Selbsterziehung des Kindes, wie von Montessoritheoretikern behauptet, oder ist es mehr das geschickte pädagogische Handeln, das die Heranwachsenden zum selbsttätigen Lernen einleitet? Durch die Analyse der Montessori-Schriften und der Sekundärliteratur sowie der Praxis der Montessori-Schulen, wurde anhand der Theorie der operativen Pädagogik Klaus Pranges ein Versuch unternommen der von vielen Wissenschaftlern gestellten Frage nachzugehen. Die genannte Frage lässt sich nur dialektisch beantworten: es gibt das selbständige Lernen des Kindes als Selbstentfaltung, eingeleitet durch das pädagogische Handeln des Erziehenden als Fremdeinwirkung.
• Is there in fact the self-education of the child, as asserted by Montessori, or is it more the skilful pedagogical action, which initiates the adolescents for self-guided learning? By analyzing the Montessori writings and the secondary literature and the practice of the Montessori schools that was made on the basis of the theory of Operative Pädagogik by Klaus Prange, an attempt to answer this question that was asked by many scientists was undertaken. To this question there can only be a dialectical answer: there is self-guided learning of the child that can be seen as self-development, but it is initiated by the educational activities of the educator as an external influence.
