After an artificial aging process the tensile strength was also clearly under those of the comparison cement. However a large delivery quantity of antibiotic could be determined with this cement. This lay at expiration of 3 weeks with Gentamicin about doubly and with Vancomycin around the factor 25 over the quantity, which the Biomet Bone Cement set free. The tensile strength and antibiotic release of the cement modified with HEMA-P resembled the values of the Biomet Bone Cementes.show moreshow less
