• Von 1995 bis 2006 wurde in der Klinik und Poliklinik für Mund-, Kiefer-, Gesichtschirurgie der Universität Würzburg bei 11 Patienten im Mund-Kiefer-Gesichtsbereich die Rekonstruktion von Defekten mittels des inferioren Trapeziuslappens durchgeführt. Bei allen Patienten lag ein Plattenepithelkarzinom vor. Die Indikation zur Rekonstruktion waren bei allen Patienten Weichgewebsdefekte.
