• The aim of this study is to describe the fundamentals and principles of hand-drawn animation, to show the different phases of animation production and testing the insights on an own animation example. Answering the question how to make a hand-drawn animation clip without having a professional training. So that financially confined local television broadcaster could use it within their television programme. The methods are the content analysis specialist literature and also the analysis of a case example. The study comes to the conclusion that there is a manual for the animation workflow, with simple tools but also some restrictions that can be used for hand-drawn animation productions.
