Marte Meo ist ein niederschwelliges ambulantes Beratungsangebot, um Eltern und andere wichtige Bezugspersonen von Kindern zu unterstützen, Erziehungskompetenz auf- und auszubauen sowie die Entwicklungsförderung und Unterstützung der Kinder in eigene Hände zu nehmen. Dieser Artikel gibt einen kurzen Überblick über die Entwicklung der Methode und ihre konkrete Anwendung in der Jugendhilfe. Marte Meo, that is a low-levelled outpatient form of councelling parents and other persons to whom children relate most closely in order to achieve educational competence and help them to assume responsibility for the developement of children.
