Abstract

Hydrothermal method has been found to be a convenient approach for the synthesis of CdFe2O4 nanoparticles. The aim of application of surfactant, ligand and reductant agent is investigate the change of morphology and size CdFe2O4 nanoparticles. The prepared nanoparticles were identified by X-ray irradiation; scanning electron microscopy, Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Also vibrating sample magnetometer displayed ferromagnetic behavior of CdFe2O4 nanoparticles. The methylene blue was used in order to measurement of CdFe2O4 nanoparticles photocatalytic demolition under visible light irradiation (degradation percent was 90%).
