Abstract

Global traffic systems have displaced the priorities in the space-time-continuum from space to time over some decades. The answer of the cartography is hesitating, though the instruments for cartographic working are existent when looking on network plans or maps showing the reachability of infrastructural institutions or highways by time-zones in the catchment area. But for the representation of the spatial behavior maps can be neglected even when looking on the former explanations of the human spatial activity by the Swedish Geographer Hägerstrand. This paper tries to show the problems using some different space examples and to present a time-based map.
