Abstract

Electro-optic KDP crystal has already been established as a potential and high speed electro-optic switch due to its Pockels effect. Several electro-optic devices have been implemented by this material which is used for optical modulation. Here, in this paper the authors report a new scheme for getting a very sharp change in the transmission factor of the crystal with biasing signal. The electrical output obtained from the multiple number of integrator circuits in series is used here as a biasing signal to the crystal.
