Karger’s website “Embarrassing Problems” (https://embarrassingproblems.karger.com/) provides information on a range of personal health matters that some people may initially find hard to discuss. “Embarrassing Problems” provides guidance and helps people to take the first steps towards diagnosis and treatment. It will offer advice about whether a visit to the pharmacy or a doctor’s appointment is necessary.

“Embarrassing Problems” is part of Karger’s patient-centered resources.

We will explain how and why Karger Publishers transfers scientifically sound research into relevant and comprehensible information for patients.

Besides “Embarrassing Problems” we will also look at our website “The Waiting Room” (https://thewaitingroom.karger.com/), a collection of health information for the general public.
