Novel Approaches Towards Sequence-Defined Macromolecules using Isocyanide-Based Multicomponent Reactions

Solleder, Susanne Carina

Abstract (englisch):

This thesis describes novel approaches for the synthesis of sequence-defined macromolecules by the use of multicomponent reactions. First, a protecting group-free approach was investigated making use of the Passerini (P-3CR) and the Ugi reaction. Then, monomers for the P-3CR were synthesized and used for the synthesis of a decamer. Moreover, a convergent synthesis approach was investigated and macromolecules were synthesized by combination of the P-3CR and thiolactone chemistry.
