Abstract

Die Verbreitung der Arten des Lamium galeobdolon-Aggregates wurde im Gebiet der Oldenburgisch- Ostfriesischen Geest seit 1995 untersucht. Drei Arten wurden gefunden: L. galeobdolon, L. argentatum (= L. galeobdolon „Florentinum“), ein Gartenflüchtling unbekannter Herkunft, und L.endtmannii, eine erst kürzlich beschriebene Art. Die Arten werden beschrieben und ihre Verbreitung wird dargestellt. L. argentatum ist im ganzen Gebiet verbreitet mit einer Häufung im Randbereich von Ortschaften. L. galeobdolon und L. endtmannii dagegen sind in den Wäldern der Geest verbreitet, treten aber nie gemeinsam auf. Die wesentlich häufigere L. endtmannii ist die vorherrschende Art im Zentrum, im Westen und im Norden des Gebietes, während L. galeobdolon an der Westgrenze ihrer Gesamtverbreitung auf den Südostrand der Geest bei Oldenburg beschränkt ist.

The distribution of the species of the Lamium galeobdolon agg. in the uplands of the Oldenburg-Ostfriesland region (Lower Saxony) has been investigated since 1995. Three species were found: L. galeobdolon, L. argentatum (L. galeobdolon „Florentinum“), a garden escape of unknown origin, and L. endtmannii, a species just recently described. The species are characterized and their distribution is presented. L. argentatum is common throughout the whole region with a concentration in the surrounding of settlements. By way of contrast, L. galeobdolon and L. endtmannii are found only in the Oldenburg uplands. Both have distinct distribution areas and are never found together. L. endtmannii is the predominating species especially in the central, western, and northern parts of the area. L. galeobdolon at the western border of its overall distribution is confined to the south-eastern margin of the uplands adjacent to the city of Oldenburg.
